Programs for Riding in the Chugach

We offer a number of options to suit your needs. Make your reservation here.

1. The Full Package — $6,900 per week (single occupancy); $6,400 (double occupancy)

Includes everything you need for a week of Alaskan heli-skiing:

Transportation from the Valdez airport to the Rendezvous, and back again at the end of your stay;
Breakfast in our lodge every morning;
36 professionally-guided heli runs — additonal runs beyond 36 cost $125;
Seven nights of lodging — just steps from the heli-pad.

At the end of the week, you'll only need to pay for your lunch, dinner and alcohol. If you choose to fly to distant ski zones, a fuel surcharge may be added.

2. Daily Package — $900 per day

Six professionally-guided heli runs — additonal runs cost $125;
Four riders in each group;
Rooms at our on-site lodge can be booked for an additional $175 (single occupancy) / $240 (double occupancy).

3. Private and Semi-private Charters — $4,400 per hour of flight time

Private: A pre-formed group of 8 riders where we offer a helicopter exclusively for you and your friends during the daily 2.5 hour minimum.

Semi-private: A pre-formed group of 4 riders where you will share a helicopter with one or two additional groups formed at the discretion of Alaska Rendezvous.

Helicopter services cost $4,400 per hour of Hobbs time — time the rotor is spinning, including flight time, take-offs, landings, and hovering;
There is a 2.5 hour minimum per day (generally equivalent to six runs of 3,000 to 5,000 vertical feet per run);
A 5-day / 10-hour minimum commitment is required for private and semi-private charters;
MUST be booked 60 days in advance with 50 percent down and full payment on arrival;
Rooms at our on-site lodge can be booked for an additional $175 (single occupancy) / $240 (double occupancy);
Guide fees will be charged @ $270 per day if extra guides are requested or needed because of slow group members, extreme skiing or very remote locations.

Please consider purchasing traveler's insurance as well as health and life coverage; the Alaska Rendezvous Lodge and Alaska Rendezvous Guides do not cover these items.

4. The Alaskan Local — $275 for two runs

Two runs very close to the Lodge at Mile 45 of the Richardson Highway.

Deposit and Refund Policy

Unlike many other operations you may come across, our policies are fair and stated clearly. We are one of the few operations to offer an option of a partial cash refund.

Deposits for a one-week stay are $4,000 per person.

Partial refunds are given only for High Avalanche conditions or weather days called by the guide or pilot. Due to fixed overhead of operations, ARG is only able to offer a 20 percent cash refund or 50 percent credit towards a future trip if we are unable to fly during your stay due to weather, snow storms or EXTREME avalanche hazard. Refunds will not be given for fatigue or injury. Refunds are not given to individuals in private or semi-private groups. Pre-paid deposit is non-refundable if cancellation is made within 90 days of scheduled arrival. A 50 percent refund will be granted if the cancellation is made 90 days prior to scheduled arrival.
